Ni Aasre Da Aasra Society — Shelter, Care, and a Second Chance at Life

Ni Aasre Da Aasra Society, based in Village Magharpur, Yamuna Nagar, is a registered non-profit organisation working directly on the streets to rescue, rehabilitate, and rebuild the lives of the destitute, abandoned, elderly, and differently-abled. Our founders, Jaskirat Singh and Balwinder Kaur, started this journey with a simple belief — that no one should be left to suffer alone on the streets, and that every human being deserves shelter, dignity, and a path back to a stable life.

Our work runs across several fronts. Our rescue teams search public places to find and aid individuals who are sick, injured, or abandoned, bringing them into our care. Once rescued, we provide shelter and rehabilitation — food, a safe place to stay, and ongoing medical treatment for as long as it is needed. Our medical support covers everything from emergency first aid to long-term treatment for chronic conditions, often for people who have no other access to healthcare.

Beyond immediate rescue and care, we run programs for women's empowerment, helping survivors of abuse and hardship rebuild independent lives, and for underprivileged and orphaned children, supporting their education so poverty does not decide their future. We also work on family reunification, tracking down relatives of the people we rescue and helping them return home wherever possible. Our elder support and differently-abled support programs ensure that the most vulnerable among us are not forgotten.

None of this is possible without the support of our donors, volunteers, and partner organisations who believe in the same mission. Every donation — whether it sponsors a meal, a month of shelter, medical treatment, or a child's education — goes directly toward this work on the ground in Yamuna Nagar.
