Women Shelter Block Expansion
Ni Aasre Da Aasra urgently needs to construct a dedicated women's shelter block to tackle severe overcrowding. The proposed L-shaped building will accommodate 100 additional women with spacious halls, dormitories, kitchen, medical room, activity hall, staff room, and hygienic sanitation areas spread over 11,385 sq. ft. — providing safe, dignified space for homeless and vulnerable women rescued from critical situations across 40+ regions.

Driving Inclusion & Well-being with Tata Winger
To strengthen rescue operations, we urgently need an 18 to 20-seater Tata Winger vehicle. Our shelter receives distress calls from hospitals, police stations, railway platforms, and local citizens about mentally disturbed, abandoned, or critically ill individuals. This spacious vehicle will enable swift response, ensure timely intervention, carry emergency medical supplies, transport multiple individuals in a single trip, and support community outreach and follow-up care.

Installation of Air Conditioning System at Shelter Home
Our shelter residents — many elderly, physically ill, or mentally distressed — suffer severely during harsh Indian summers and winters. Installing air conditioning units across dormitories, the medical room, and the rehabilitation hall will ensure a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment. Proper temperature control is critical for residents recovering from trauma, illness, or malnourishment, directly improving recovery outcomes and overall well-being.

Medical Equipment & In-House Healthcare Unit
Many residents arrive malnourished, injured, or in critical medical condition. We aim to set up a fully functional in-house medical unit equipped with examination tables, vital monitoring machines, wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators, first-aid supplies, and basic diagnostic tools. This will allow our caregivers to provide immediate on-site medical attention, reducing emergency hospital transfers and enabling faster recovery for the most vulnerable residents.
Rehabilitation
Skill Development & Livelihood Restoration Program
Rescue is only the first step. To truly restore dignity, residents who recover need livelihood skills to reintegrate into society. This project funds a structured skill-development program covering tailoring, handicrafts, basic computer literacy, and vocational trades. Additionally, it covers transportation support to reconnect recovered individuals with their families across India, giving them a genuine second chance at an independent, productive life.
Sustainability
Solar Energy Installation for Sustainable Operations
Running a 24/7 shelter for 200+ residents results in high electricity costs that strain our operational budget. Installing a rooftop solar panel system will significantly reduce electricity bills, freeing up critical funds for food, medicines, and caregiving staff. This green investment supports long-term financial sustainability of the shelter while demonstrating responsible, eco-conscious CSR impact — aligning with India's clean energy goals and ESG reporting objectives for corporate partners.
